The eighth BEST FASHION AWARDS Ceremony took place on 14th November in Regent Hill. The host of this year’s Ceremony was Valentyna Khamayko — TV presenter of the program «Snidanok with 1+1. Weekend». The BFA award is determined by voting of a group of 30 experts based on the results of the two—season collections. The expert group includes well—known fashion journalists, critics, buyers and opinion leaders.
This year, the protocols of Award`s experts and the counting of votes were processed by the law firm «Alekseev, Boyarchukov and Partners». It keeps the results of the voting in secret — until they are announced from the stage during the Ceremony.

The British Council in Ukraine has already become a traditional partner of the Opening of the Year Award. The winner of this award will have the opportunity to participate in the program, organized by British Council together with Ukrainian Fashion Week, in February 2018 during London Fashion Week.

The ceremony also presents the «Inspiration» award, the fate of which is decided by the designers themselves.
Winner: Polina Nenya.
The award was presented by Iryna Turbayevska, publisher of the online magazine ZEFIR.UA.
«Business Breakthrough»
In 2017, the organizing committee of the Best Fashion Awards launched a special award that will be given to unique commercially successful projects implemented in Ukraine.
Winner: Andre Tan.
The award was presented by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitchko
