On 19th September took place the seventh BEST FASHION AWARDS ceremony.
The BFA 2016 winners were selected by a group of 30 experts. The jury included fashion journalists, fashion critics, buyers and opinion leaders.
The processing of the protocols of the award`s experts and the counting of votes was carried out by the law company Arzinger. It kept the results of the voting in secret — until they were announced from the stage during the ceremony.
For the second time, the British Council in Ukraine has become a partner of the «Discovery of the Year» award. The winner of this award was given the opportunity to take part in a program organized by the British Council and Ukrainian Fashion Week in February 2017 during London Fashion Week.
The partners of Best Fashion Awards were: the general partner Lexus, leading floristic company of Ukraine LoraShen, DHL Express Ukraine, unique drinking water WISE.

The Best Womenswear Designer: LAKE studio — Olesya Kononova / Anastasiia Ryabokon.
The Best Menswear Designer: sasha.kanevski — Olexander Kanevsky.
The Best Accessories Designer: LAKE studio — Olesya Kononova / Anastasiia Ryabokon.
The Best Fashion Performance: FROLOV — Ivan Frolov.
«The Discovery of the Year «: FLOW the Label — Victoriia Balanyuk.
«The Breakthrough of the Year»: FROLOV — Ivan Frolov.
«Inspiration»: Asya Mkhitaryan.
Awards were presented to the winners by Ukrainian singer Jamala, TV presenter Kateryna Osadchaya, President of the Odessa International Film Festival Victoriia Tigipko, Director of the British Council in Ukraine Simon Williams and editor—in—chief of ELLE Ukraine magazine Sonya Zabuga, TV presenter and founder of the Charity weekend project Masha Efrosinina, President of the Odessa Classics International Music Festival Alexey Botvinov and founder of the KYIV ART WEEK International Festival, curator of the GogolFest visual program Yevgen Bereznytskyi.
