Nominees of BEST FASHION AWARDS 2014

On 9th September, the fifth ceremony of BEST FASHION AWARDS will take place.

BEST FASHION AWARDS is the only professional award that defines the leaders of Ukrainian fashion and notes the achievements of designers in the development of fashion, building a fashion industry in the country and creating a positive image of Ukraine abroad. BFA is held annually and evaluates collections of two seasons.

The fate of the official awards is decided by BEST FASHION AWARDS experts — a group of 39 people, which includes fashion journalists, fashion critics, buyers and opinion leaders.

«The ceremony is crucially important now, because the designers have presented their collections and creative collaborations with dignity and professionalism over the last very difficult year. Participation in professional world fashion events and appearance in concept stores are constant components of news about Ukrainian designers for the last year,” comments Iryna Danylevska, the founder and head of the organizing committee of Ukrainian Fashion Week.

The dress code was chosen to be ethnic creative — a formal outfit with ethnic elements. The new location of the Best Fashion Awards was the Metropolitan Garden of the National Reserve Sophia Kyivska.
