DHL Express Ukraine – partner of BFA 2021

In 2018, Best Fashion Awards together with DHL Express Ukraine established the Sustainable Fashion nomination to award clothing brands that have chosen «ethical design and ethical production» as their philosophy. This year, during BFA 2021, the award in the nomination was presented for the fourth time. The award was given to the KSENIASCHNAIDER brand, designers — Ksenia Schnaider, Anton Schnaider.

DHL Express company not only implements innovations but also creates them. Currently, DHL Express Ukraine is launching a trend — recycling of used uniforms — corporate upcycling. The company is concerned about the disposal and recycling of used work uniforms of DHL employees and encourages other major brands to do so.

«In fact, only a few companies are thinking about where a uniform or protective gear will go after it becomes unnecessary. Discarded uniforms and protective clothing usually end up in the trash bin and in landfills: 85% of corporate clothing turns into mountains of junk. The question is: what can be done to reduce the amount of waste that gets into the landfill? We are thinking about the fact that it is not always worth throwing away or destroying… »

During the Best Fashion Awards 2021 ceremony, guests watched a film created by DHL Express Ukraine, which presents the collection of young Ukrainian designer Yuliia Postushna. In the film, DHL Express Ukraine appeals for circularity in the fashion area and the search for harmony between human beings and the environment.
